Eat at Joe's Barbecue Franchise Opportunity

If you’re looking for a barbecue franchise opportunity then the answer may lie with one of the large mainstream BBQ restaurant franchise chains. Then again, it might not and a more personal approach like Eat at Joe’s could be what you’re looking for. Whichever way you finally end up it always pays to do your research well and understand what’s on offer.

In order to understand what Eat at Joe’s has to offer I asked Joe Heslin to write about himself and his business, so in your own words it’s over to you Joe:-

“I am Joe Heslin, a 47 year old male who has spent a great deal of time working in all sorts of restaurant kitchens. I grew up in MN. Moved to Colorado, and eventually ended up in Wikieup AZ.

Barbecue is a diverse offering, varying in many ways from region to region. I spent quite a few years driving semi's all over the nation, and sampling BBQ from almost every region. I spent time studying and talking with masters, to come up with my own style and recipes. I feel we have taken the best aspects from all regions and compiled it into what we offer at Eat at Joe's barbecue.

I feel there are many areas in which we could expand into, so I'm not necessarily looking at one area or another.

What we have to offer is training in real barbecue, not boiled, baked or steamed. Using a precision smoker we are able to deliver consistent product every day. We are about great food, enjoyable music, and a comfortable atmosphere. We are friendly, and take time to chat with each customer when time allows.

I have gone through the pain, trials and tribulations of opening a BBQ restaurant and have been successful since opening in Sept. Of '05. What I have to offer is not only my recipes and style, but also hands on training as well as the knowledge of what is needed to accomplish a successful opening.”
