I’m not a big dessert fiend so I have to thank my kids Hannah and Lucy for coming up with this BBQ fruit kebabs idea for finishing off the perfect cookout.
The best thing about this menu ideas is that whatever fruit you have in will do the job all you’ve got to do is slice it and dice it, slide it onto a skewer and pop it on the grill under a gentle heat.
To finish it off when you’re almost ready to serve, take a teaspoon of honey and drizzle it over the kebab just to caremelize slightly. If your heat is gentle then you’ll be OK, just be careful not to allow the honey to burn.
That’s all there is to it but if it’s a bit too healthy for you then BREAK OUT THE CREAM!
