After visiting 8000 restaurants over two years here is the top ten BBQ restaurants list compiled by Ardie A Davis.

Ardie (also known as Remus Powers) is a BBQ historian and ambassador. He's the founder of the American Royal International BBQ Sauce, Rub and Baste Contest as well as the Great American Barbecue Sauce, Baste and rub contest. So when it comes to knowing a thing or two about “the Q” he's no slouch and I guess we should sit up and take notice.

This list has been compiled as a result of Ardie's research with competition chef Paul Kirk for their book America's Best BBQ – sounds like a real hard slog researching this book!
