BBQ Safety And Food Safety

I’ve seen too many barbecue accident pictures not to take BBQ safety seriously. At the end of the day, you’re playing with fire so you need to ensure that you have a sensible head on especially when thinking about the safety of your family and friends.

BBQ Safety

My mate Iain tripped and fell onto a hot BBQ when he was a kid and has a scar down the side of his face to this day. Fortunately Iain is of strong character and has never let this disfigurement affect his life but for others that may not be the case.

The other thing to consider is that at a barbeque party there may well be alcohol served and we all know how this can affect one’s judgment. Without taking health and safety to an extreme there are simple practical steps that you can take to safeguard your family and friend.

Food Hygiene

Just to finish off I’ve also prepared a section of food hygiene so now there’s absolutely no way that you can take the blame for any of your cookout guests phoning in sick on Monday morning!
