Being an Englishman I've done countless cookouts in the rain and built many a portable contraption to protect my portable grill from the elements but I know it in my heart that my exploits will pale into insignificance compared with what some of you have coped with.

Let's have a laugh and see who can send in the most ridiculous situation in which to have a barbecue. Don't forget to write a few lines about who you are, where you were when the photo was taken and most of all – what were you cooking and was it any good?!
