Easy Grilled Steak Recipes

Grilled steak recipes don't come any easier than this one (unless of course you mean just slapping it on the grill with a little salt and pepper), preparation time is minimal and the sweet mustard paste really packs a punch.

Grilled Steak And Mushrooms

As you see I did mine very simply with a few grilled mushrooms. The mushrooms will take longer to cook than the steak so I usually cook these first on a lower heat (move the cooking grate away from the coals) and then just warm them up when I'm ready to do the steak.

I like to use ribeye but rump will do the job just as well, just make sure that you get a good thick steak so that the heat has chance to work on the meat and the paste that we're going to coat the meat with.

Cooking your steak how you like it is clearly a point of preference and if you're not sure how to get it to your liking then use my tips on how to grill steaks

For serving, keep it simple. Try my grilled potato salad

Method:-

If refrigerated, get your steaks out a couple of hours prior to your cookout.

In a small pot, mix up the mustard, sugar and Worcestershire sauce.

Season your steaks on one side with salt and pepper and then brush on some of the mustard mix.

Coated side down, grill the steaks for the time that you like and apply the mustard mix to the top side.

When you flip the steaks you can continue to coat the mustard mix on the freshly cooked side.
