This remote thermometer is ideal for monitoring the temperature of a smoker

I have been using a smoker for 2 years and have trouble with knowing what the temperature of the smoker is. The temp gauge on the lid is not accurate, I have an oven thermometer inside the smoker but when you lift the lid you loose heat and add time to smoking. Do you have a temperature device you can advise me on buying to know what the inside temp of the smoker is.

Answer:

You need a Primo digital remote thermometer. It’s a temperature probe too.

  • Digital, therefore accurate.
  • Your can program to a particular meat temperature and it beeps if the temp is exceeded
  • You can set a temperature range for the smoker oven and it beeps if you go outside your programmed range
