Quick Smoked Pork Ribs

Your recipe for Pork Ribs (smoked) calls for 60 min/lb but If I'm smoking 10 lbs that would be 10 hrs. Isn't that gonna be too long?

60 min/lb for smoked pork ribs seems too long. 10 lbs. would be 10 hrs at 225. I need a better time ie 2 1/2 hours.

Answer:-

Honestly 60 minutes per pound isn't too long if your want that fall off the bone tenderness.

If you're looking for something quicker than there's a couple of things that you can try.

1. Smoke them for a couple of hours and to get the smoke flavour and then finish off on the grill.

2. Do small sections of ribs, boil them for 15 minutes then grill.

Neither of these will produce supremely tender results but it will be quicker. You may want to be assertive with the BBQ sauce too, a good strong sauce and you can hide behind it a little.
