Stuck Burner On DCS BBQ

One of my burners is stuck on my DCS BBQ. Is there any way to get it back to it regular working order?
I've tried to fiddle with it back and forth with a wrench but it's crimping the brass knob. It appears to be stuck, the spring is not working at all. It will not turn left or right.
Answer:-
A grill is a significant investment so you should be able to expect it to last just like any other kitchen appliance allowing for one important point - it can stand outside year round in all weathers and so take quite a pounding.
As manufacturers strive for profit improvement and lower cost it has to be said that the quality of grills today is not what it would have been 10 years ago but then look at the relative cost. We live in a throw away society.
Having said that, you’re right to have a go at trying to repair your grill but be prepared to buy a new burner unit. The throw away society applies to spare parts too and more often than not you now have to buy a larger component rather than a simple spring. Also if it's not an obvious fix then you risk safety.
