Apple Cider Vinegar Basting Recipe

Has anyone got an apple cider vinegar basting recipe?

I was at a club pig roast and a guy I know wouldn't give up his basting recipe. The pig was split open and basted a lot, it was tangy hot and very good.

I was wondering if anybody knows of this basting recipe or something similar? It was an apple cider vinegar base with crushed red pepper that I saw in the jar and it was a liquid not a thick sauce.

All help gratefully received.
Thank you,
Rick.

Pork Mop Sauce
by: NJM

A very simple pork mop sauce can be made with the following ingredients:

Apple Cider Vinegar (1/2 gallon will be plenty)
1 or 2 sliced jalapeno peppers (to taste)
1 onion sliced thin

You can add other things as you see fit, such as crushed red pepper, paprika, etc.

Good Luck!
